4th motel we've stayed in for ice fishing this winter and this place was by far the best. Room was very clean and warm, with a great shower. Bed and... read more pillows were clean and super comfortable. The real bonus was the restaurant on the property. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding (Katlyn!). Would highly recommend the Red Umbrella for accommodations or even just a nice dinner out. Will definitely be back!

Super friendly staff, and they even called me afterwards to see how I liked it cause they knew it was my first time trying it. That was the icing on the cake for me. If you haven’t eaten their pizza, you should! That will be my go to from now on. Thank you for the delicious food and superior service!!

Recently travelled to the area on our motorbikes. Had trouble finding a place to stay but ended up at the Red Umbrella. Our accommodations were pretty average it was an... read more older building and appeared to be in mid repair. To be fair it was their last room. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was dated and needed work. Overall the unit was clean just old and tired. The restaurant/bar was a great spot. The bar tender / server was running all night and she was awesome. The food was amazing , no really it was exceptional and would highly recommend you stop by even if your not staying. Our experience in the dining room is the reason we will return. Beautiful lake view and very accommodating staff.
