The original lodge accommodations and lobby area are still in use, the lounge and bar area that was added in the late ’50s underwent significant upgrades in 2011 and the beautiful addition of the Lakeside dining room was added.
As the Red Umbrella has grown in size it has also grown in amenities offered to make each stay even more enjoyable.
In the summer months, enjoy the kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, outdoor games, water trampoline, and evening bonfires.
When the weather is a little cooler more indoor activities are used, such as pool and foosball tables, and a lounge area with a gas fireplace.
The Red Umbrella Inn is located on a 3-acre property on the west shore of Twelve Mile Lake.
We feature a “kid-friendly” sand beach with shallow swimming in a sheltered bay (no lifeguards). There are complimentary canoes & paddle boats available for our guests. There is free Wi-fi internet covering the entire property.
